The SpreadFighter platform operates on MetaMask. The article provides a detailed description of how to properly register, transfer funds, and pay for a subscription

Registration in MetaMask

MetaMask is an app and a browser extension that serves as a cryptocurrency wallet connected to the Ethereum network. If you already have MetaMask, you can proceed directly to the "Subscription Purchase" section. The SpreadFighter platform also supports other wallets (if you are not using MetaMask, you probably already know what to do and can move to the "Subscription Purchase" section). You can download this extension from the official MetaMask website. Go to the MetaMask download page, select the platform you are using, and follow the installation instructions.

After registering and installing MetaMask click the "Create Wallet" button to create a wallet.

<aside> 💡 ATTENTION! Each cryptocurrency wallet has - a set of 12 to 24 words necessary for restoring access. Write it down in a safe place (preferably on a device not connected to the internet). Without this phrase, it will be impossible to recover your funds if you damage or lose your device.

On the next page, confirm that you have written down the seed-phrase.

Wallet Setup

You may immediately notice that we are still dealing with a wallet on the Ethereum network. At best, it will not work with decentralized applications (DApps) on Binance Smart Chain, such as SpreadFighter. At worst, you may lose funds by sending them to the wrong addresses that you actually use. To make Binance Smart Chain network available for the wallet, do the following:

  1. Click on your avatar in the top corner of the screen.
  2. Select the "Settings" item from the drop-down menu.
  3. Go to the "Networks" section.
  4. Click "Add Network" in the top right corner to manually add the Polygon (Matic) network - it is not connected in MetaMask by default, or select from the list by checking the box.
